Description
Le monteur de structures d'aéronefs est un ouvrier de production spécialisé dans l’assemblage des éléments qui composent la structure d’un aéronef (ailes d’avions, fuselage, gouvernes…). A partir du dossier de fabrication, il réalise seul ou en équipe l’assemblage de pièces et effectue également le montage des divers équipements métalliques, mécaniques ou composites.
Le monteur de structures aéronautiques travaille sur une chaîne de montage d’aéronefsLes activités du monteur de structures aéronautiques s’exercent dans les sections « tôlerie » ou « assemblage » des entreprises de construction ou de maintenance aéronautique. Il peut aussi exercer pour des sous-traitants spécialisés dans les matériaux composites et métalliques.
Il réalise ses tâches en atelier sur une chaîne de montage d’aéronefs (avions ou hélicoptères), sur des unités d’assemblage plus petites ou partiellement sur la cellule. Il peut également travailler dans un hangar lorsqu’il participe à l’intégration finale d’un avion.
